Ninthlaw is a place to express my frustration over the state of climate science and the desire of some environmentalists to beggar the world in order to keep the Earth’s climate static.  My views are that the Earth is indeed warming and has been for some time, but that the Anthropogenic part of Anthropogenic Global Warming has not been conclusively proven to be the major cause of this warming; that a warm planet is far, far better for humanity than a cold planet; that higher CO2 levels are good for plant life; and that there is tremendous moral good in lifting the Third World out of poverty.  I subscribe to George E. P. Box’s observation that essentially, all models are wrong, but some are useful and Alfred Korzubski’s succinct remark that the map is not the territory.
