AT&T can’t seem to run a network

About a month ago, I had a four day network outage at my home. AT&T kept assuring me each day that the problem would be fixed within 24 hours. Today, I’m down all day again. AT&T has forgotten how to manage a consumer grade network–I’ve been a customer of Bellsouth/AT&T for about 15 years, and I’ve never had such lousy service. Time to start looking…

Last Saturday, at the ATL Hackfest, I ran into the “Rake 0.9.0 breaks Rails 3.0.7” problem, and it took a few minutes to figure it out. It is nice to have this stuff written up somewhere. Maybe I should start writing up more things, too.
